Risk-Based Testing in Practice

This two day course develops students’ ability to analyse risk and plan testing based on that analysis.

The course has the following objectives:

• Explain in detail how risk-based testing can be practiced and transfers risk principles from the fields of safety and security
• Introduce not only technical risk analysis but also psychological influences
• Learn the principles of risk-based testing and illustrate their application to test planning
• Learn how to develop a risk-based way of thinking
• Learn how an approach that is both risk-based and test-based can be taken during development so as to identify and reduce the risks in the first place
